The pop talent KEDDE grew up in a small town far out in the countryside, a place where everyone looked the same and where standing out was rarely rewarded. But he did. He just didn’t know back then what it was that made him different. Only in recent years has KEDDE arrived at a place where he truly feels at ease with himself, and where he can openly and proudly be queer, both in relation to himself and to the world around him.
Since his debut in 2023, he has released a string of strong songs and the EP ‘En Stille Start’. From this release, the single ‘Sådan må det være’ was selected as “P3’s Uundgåelige” at the beginning of 2024, and now KEDDE marks the beginning of a new chapter. At the end of 2025, KEDDE released ‘If u kno u kno’ feat. Karoline Mousing, a song that at the start of this year also became “P3’s Uundgåelige” and quickly climbed to the top of the list of most-streamed tracks in Denmark. Once again, KEDDE cements his place as a voice on the Danish music scene to keep an eye on.
The music has always been personal, but never before this honest and openly queer. For the first time, he truly feels at home; a place where he is understood and has the courage and maturity to write the songs that really matter. The style can be described as “acoustic at the club,” and his love for the guitar, especially the acoustic one, has opened the door to a new way of telling stories.
