After four years on the board of SPOT Festival, musician Victor Dybbroe is now stepping down and passing the baton on. At the same time, the festival welcomes Marianne Lewandowski, who will take over the board seat and become part of the continued strategic work behind SPOT. Victor Dybbroe was jointly appointed by the Danish Artists’ Union (Dansk Artist Forbund) and the Danish Musicians’ Union (Dansk Musiker Forbund) – as is now his successor, Marianne Lewandowski.
During his time on the board, Victor Dybbroe has contributed a strong artistic perspective and an engaged view of developments and conditions within the music industry. About his years on SPOT’s board, he says:
“Thank you for four great, educational and exciting years on SPOT’s board. It has been rewarding to be part of the table and contribute to the festival’s development and many new initiatives. The important work at this key festival in the music industry continues, and therefore I am pleased to pass the baton to my colleague Marianne Lewandowski, whom I trust will carry the work forward with strong professionalism.”
Marianne Lewandowski joins the board with solid experience both as a performing musician for 25 years and from organizational work, including as a board member of DAF and as a member of the representative council of the Danish Arts Foundation (Statens Kunstfond). She looks forward to contributing to SPOT Festival’s continued development:
“SPOT Festival has followed me for many years and has always been a guiding light in the Danish music landscape. I have encountered the festival from the stage as a performing musician, as a member of the audience, and later from the organizational side through my work at the Danish Artists’ Union. From all three perspectives, I experience SPOT as a place where music is not only presented but given the opportunity to develop. It is a festival where artists, audiences and organizers meet around their love of music, but it is also a space where important conversations about the industry’s conditions and future can take place, and where cross-sector connections help drive the music scene forward. I look forward to being on board and contributing to ensuring that SPOT continues to stand as a beacon in the Danish music landscape.”
SPOT Festival thanks Victor Dybbroe for his commitment and valuable contributions to the board’s work and looks forward to collaborating with Marianne Lewandowski in the upcoming board term.
Efter fire år i SPOT Festivals bestyrelse træder musiker Victor Dybbroe nu ud og giver stafetten videre. Samtidig byder festivalen velkommen til Marianne Lewandowski, som overtager pladsen i bestyrelsen og bliver en del af det fortsatte strategiske arbejde bag SPOT. Det er Dansk Artist Forbund og Dansk Musiker Forbund, der i fællesskab har udpeget Victor Dybbroe, og nu hans efterfølger Marianne Lewandowski.
Victor Dybbroe har i sin tid i bestyrelsen bidraget med et stærkt kunstnerisk perspektiv og et engageret blik på musikbranchens udvikling og vilkår. Om sine år i SPOTs Bestyrelse siger han:
“Tak for fire gode, lærerige og spændende år i SPOTs bestyrelse. Det har været givende at være med om bordet og bidrage til festivalens udvikling og mange nye tiltag. Det vigtige arbejde i musikbranchens nøgle-festival fortsætter, og derfor glæder det mig at give stafetten videre til min kollega Marianne Lewandowski, som jeg har stor tillid til vil føre arbejdet videre med stærk faglighed,”
Marianne Lewandowski tiltræder bestyrelsen med solid erfaring både som udøvende musiker i 25 år, samt organisatorisk arbejde som bl.a. bestyrelsesmedlem hos DAF, og medlem af repræsentantskabet for Statens Kunstfond. Hun ser frem til at bidrage til SPOT Festivals videre udvikling:
“SPOT Festival har fulgt mig gennem mange år og har altid været et pejlemærke i det danske musiklandskab. Jeg har mødt festivalen både fra scenen som udøvende musiker, som publikum og senere fra den organisatoriske side gennem mit arbejde i Dansk Artist Forbund, og fra alle tre ståsteder oplever jeg SPOT som et sted, hvor musik ikke blot præsenteres, men får mulighed for at udvikle sig. Det er en festival, hvor kunstnere, publikum og arrangører mødes om kærligheden til musikken, men det er også et rum, hvor de vigtige samtaler om branchens vilkår og fremtid kan finde sted, og hvor forbindelser på kryds og tværs er med til at drive musiklivet videre. Jeg glæder mig til at være med om bord og til at bidrage til, at SPOT fortsat står som et fyrtårn i det danske musiklandskab.”
SPOT Festival takker Victor Dybbroe for hans engagement og værdifulde bidrag til bestyrelsesarbejdet og ser frem til samarbejdet med Marianne Lewandowski i den kommende bestyrelsesperiode.
