A live experience out of the ordinary - Julia Bengtson captures the room in a way few others can. She is a musician and artist, curious and hesitant, restless and rooted. With presence as one of her strongest trademarks, she moves freely between folk, indie, and pop together with her band.

In October 2025, Julia Bengtson released her debut album ‘det ska bli som det ska’, an album that sparked strong reactions and found its audience through lyrics that linger and resonate - not least through the singles ‘Rum’ and ‘Gång på gång’.

The debut album is strongly influenced by both the Swedish pop wonder and Scandinavian folk music, tradition and production, shaped into a distinctive sound centered around friction and contrasts. The big and the small. The grand and the intimate. The fragile and the strong. Julia Bengtson presents a unique blend of folk and pop that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
