‘Discovery is the headliner’
The application round for SPOT 2026 is open, and music can be submitted from 1st to 31st October at 12:00
SPOT Festival was created as a gathering point for the Nordic music scene, and over the years the festival has played a central role in bringing new artists closer to audiences and the music industry. With the tagline ‘Discovery is the headliner’, we highlight the core mission: to create space for the undiscovered and to showcase the voices that will shape the music of the future.
The application round is aimed at debutants, meaning artists and bands who have not previously been directly booked by SPOT. Geographically, it is open to talents from Denmark and the Nordic countries, and, as always, we look forward to experiencing the many expressions and voices emerging from rehearsal rooms and studios across the region.
When the festival takes place, Aarhus will once again be filled with concerts, meetings, and musical curiosity. The application round marks the starting signal for another year in which new talents have the opportunity to become part of the SPOT story and the music emerging from the Nordic region. SPOT also continues to serve as a stepping stone for many exciting future musical careers.
