ULD is a fresh Oslo-based trio consisting of Une on vocals, Lucia on piano, and Dagny on accordion. After spending three years together in high school, they began jamming at Toneheim Folk High School. And it’s safe to say - it worked out really well.
Since then, they have continued brewing and enjoying the process of making and playing music. Together, they write intimate and honest lyrics, complementing them with harmonies and melodies straight from the heart. In addition to writing their own lyrics, they are also inspired by Norwegian poets such as Jon Fosse and Gunvor Hofmo, aiming to breathe new, modern life into their powerful poetry.
This fusion gives their music a unique expression that is difficult to define in terms of genre, but they describe themselves as often drawn to a kind of indie-folk singer-songwriter format.
