Does age play (too big) a role in the music industry when it comes to who and what receives investment, gets signed to labels, played on the radio, booked on stages, receives funding from grants, and generally gains access to the market?

Statistics show that the largest cultural consumers are middle-aged women. How does that align with data indicating that women’s income from Koda drops as soon as they pass the age of 40?

The panel will explore the complexities of this issue from various perspectives and positions.

Har alder en (for stor) faktor i musikbranchen når det kommer til hvem og hvad der bliver investeret i, signet på labels, spillet på radio, booket på scenerne, får støtte fra fondene og i det hele taget får adgang til markedet?
Tal viser at de største kulturforbrugere er midaldrende kvinder, hvordan stemmer det overens med de tal der viser at kvinders indtægt fra KODA falder ligeså snart de har passeret 40 års alderen.
Panelet vil fra forskellige vinkler og positioner belyse emnets kompleksiteter.
