Are you curious about the future of the music industry and creative work? Let's Talk Future explores the latest technological advancements that will shape the industry's future.
Web3, the next evolution of the internet, promises to decentralize control and empower creators and consumers alike, but how do you as artists utilize this technology as part of your work?
Ejlerskov will present her works and ideas involving blockchain technology. She will delve into the concept of the Goddess of Oxytocin, the love hormone inherited from our ancestors, and the battle between Oxytocin and Adrenaline which became the focus point for an AR sculpture minted on the blockchain a few years back. Ejlerskov will also present various ways to distribute and democratize art, including the reimagining of classical sculpture The Wrestlers which she will make available for everyone in the room to use, share, reshape, and 3D print as they please. Additionally, she will touch upon her new book that encapsulates different ideas about this era possibly being the "great reset" of the human experience and how the accelerating development of web2 impacts our minds and bodies - maybe in a dangerous way. Regarding her book she states that "There is nothing simple about the transitory era we are living in. It is all intertwined. From banks to crypto to God to flesh to blood; the counterculture movements of the early internet might in fact be closely connected to ancient spiritual and philosophical movements.”
