Verge was raised on underground rap from Atlanta. Rapping in English was cool. And Danish was the opposite.
Although it was previously difficult for Thor, the man behind Verge, to make the lyrics sound right in Danish, it has become easier over the years. Because this is where he best expresses the emotions that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.
Music has become his platform. A place where he metaphorically can cry into the paper while writing.
The music is inspired by the hip-hop he grew up with. Both old school and new school. The lyrics are honest and the beat is gritty.
