Music is an essential part of visual storytelling. No matter how grand the pictures, music can deliver the emotions that make the stories relevant and believable. Most of the milestones in films and television are closely tied to their music score. Jakob Stegelmann has listened to film music all his life and spent a great deal of his career presenting and promoting the art of film and tv music. In this keynote he will share some of his favourite moments, where moving pictures and music came together to create magic.
For his work in promoting understanding of music in film, tv and games, Jakob Stegelmann received DJBFA's special award in 2017.
