Join us for an exciting debate, where a group of musicians and other professionals from the industry discuss and together will find solutions on how we can create more space for diverse voices in the music scene. They will share both personal stories and their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities for creating more space on stage for groups that currently do not get the spotlight they deserve.
Thomas Sandberg, Chairperson of the Danish Musicians' Union, will introduce the debate with a temperature check on the representation of women, sexual and gender minorities, and individuals with minority ethnic backgrounds in the industry. This will serve as a springboard for a debate focused on finding concrete solutions, which the Danish Musicians' Union will take home and put into action. The audience is also encouraged to actively participate in the debate by asking questions and contributing with their own insights.
Panel: Thomas Sandberg, chairperson/Danish Musicians' Union, Katrine Villadsen, co-founder/WeMakeNoise, Rosa Lois Balle Yahiya, founder, secretariat leader/Another Life, Luna Bülow Ersahin, musician, composer/AySay
