Recognition of The Live Crew (Danish)

Presented by WILM

Radisson Blu Room 4 Get direction
EN DK

2022 was a catastrophy for the work backstage at concerts, festivals and alike because there was a huge lack of qualified crew as well as gear. That was partly because of the lacking of communication between different actors offstage and to many productions. 2023 doesn't seem to be better. Are artists and managements aware of how bad the situation is?

There seems to be a lack of recognition within the music industry of the work that is done backstage. Wouldn't it contribute the whole music business if on- and offstage were better at collaborating? Estimated, 75-80 % of the work within the Danish live music industry is taking place backstage.

Panel:
Emma Hestbæk, Promoter, Smash!Bang!Pow!
Malle Kaas, CEO, WILM
Tobias Ljungar Sødring, Tour Manager & co-organizer of the upcoming festival Øhavet

This talk will be held in Danish.
