It's not rocket science that the placement of an old established hit in a film, series or commercial can bring that song back on charts. But with the massive come back for artists like Kate Bush and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, that we have experienced recently - combined with the advent of fast digital distribution and social media to catapult these tracks - this could be the result of not only the coincidental "right track for the right"-project, but maybe a more thorough strategy from both supervisors, publishers and labels. Also these placements gives access to a new and young audience (Nick Cave & Peaky Blinders etc.) In this panel we will look into this phenomenon.
