The whole area of music supervision and music placement in trailers, games, TV-series, film and advertising is an extremely important part of the music industry’s revenue streams today. That is why we’re very happy to announce the 6th edition of one of our most popular initiatives at SPOT+ – our famous speed meetings at “Meet The Music Supervisors”.

Dan Koplowitz

Owner of Friendly Fire Licensing, Los Angeles
Dan Koplowitz has been involved with the music industry in one way or another for the past twenty years. He owns the boutique sync agency Friendly Fire Licensing, which represents about forty labels and publishers (including Crunchy Frog, GL Music, Cosmos, Playground, and lots more) for inclusion in TV shows, movies, commercials, and video games. Dan manages a number of bands and focuses primarily on working with international acts in the USA.

Ilana Goldstoff

Sync Manager at Sizzer, Amsterdam
Ilana Goldstoff is Sync Manager at Sizzer Amsterdam. Before joining the company in 2015 she was active in the music industry for 12 years as a booker, talent scout and manager. Ilana is responsible for the award-winning ’When You Drive, Never Drink’ Heineken campaign, as well as syncs for Diesel, Chanel, Audi and many others. Sizzer Amsterdam is one of the leading agencies in the world of music for images.

Connie Edwards

Music Supervisor at Major Tom, London
Connie has been supervising music for commercials with Major Tom for the past 5 years. Her work at Major Tom consists of full music services, encompassing music supervision, licensing, soundtrack composition and score supervision, all undertaken with an uncompromisingly creative perspective, an obsession for originality and striving for the highest production values. Recent credits include worldwide campaigns for Stella Artois and Range Rover.

Daniel Kuypers

SVP, Executive Director of Music, Energy BBDO, Chicago
Daniel Kuypers is a 21 year music industry veteran who has been producing music for brands for the past 11 years. As Director of Music Daniel works with internal teams, clients, artists and music companies around the world to use music in new, innovative ways while creating value for both the artist and the client. Daniel works with a varied roster of past and present clients including PepsiCo, Wrigley/Mars, MillerCoors, Starbucks, Bayer and more.

Sarah Bridge

Independent Music Supervisor, London
Sarah is an independent music supervisor for film & TV. Her career has evolved from music journalism to music supervision via A&R management. Her credits include Oscar and multi award winning ’The Theory of Everything’ (Director: James Marsh) ’X+Y’ (Director: Morgan Matthews) and ’Fighting with My Family’ (Director: Stephen Merchant). Sarah is currently working on projects for Netflix, Lionsgate, BFI, Blackdog Films and many more.

Iain Cooke

Freelance Music Supervisor, London
Iain Cooke is a freelance music supervisor for film & TV who has recently supervised Wanderlust, for BBC1 & Netflix; Informer, a six part thriller for BBC/Amazon, the four part animated adaptation of Watership Down for BBC/Netflix and a new eight part TV adaptation of Hanna for Amazon. His TV supervision credits include John le Carré’s multi-EMMY nominated The Night Manager, Golden Globe & EMMY nominated Luther and many more.

Ben Sumner

Founder of Feel For Music, London
Ben Sumner is a music supervisor specializing in the field of video games. Twice voted Music Week Music Supervisor of the Year for Video Games and winner of awards for music creation and supervision across gaming, advertising and radio. Ben has worked on music for numerous games franchises including Assassins Creed, Just Cause, Tomb Raider, Hitman, to name just a few. As well as numerous other projects including work for Google, Jaguar and BBC.

Clement Souchier

Music Supervisor & Producer at Creaminal, Paris
Clement Souchier founded Creaminal in 2004. In 14 years, Creaminal has become one of the most influent music supervision agencies with offices in New York, Singapore & Sao Paolo. Our multi-awarded team provides both artistic insight and business and legal expertise in music supervision for Feature Films, Series, Advertising campaigns, Video Games and Events.

Son Nguyen

Founder and Music Supervisor at Phenom Music, Hamburg
The love of music had me early on so I decided to go professional. I joined Jon Welch Music as a co-producer and honed my skills. I became a freelance musician and producer and in 2009 I joined ROBA Music Publishing. In 2015 I founded Phenom Music with Gernot Preusser. As music supervisors we specialize in advertising. Completely independent we want to provide our clients with the best musical option possible ’ not tied anything but our imagination.

Nis Bøgvad

Music Supervisor and CEO/Founder, Copenhagen Film Music
Nis founded ’Copenhagen Film Music’ a 360 Music supervision company for Film & TV. Nis has worked on more than 150 commercials, TV series and films. He’s been sharing knowledge at A&R Worldwide, Midem Cannes, Sync summit Paris, Les Arcs European Film Festival, and Artist mentor for Music Estland VOLÜÜM mentoring program, to mention a few. Lately Nis has been working on the Danish TV drama ’Follow the Money’ (Bedrag).

Goran Obad

Music Supervisor at Ohlogy, Oslo
Partner and head of music supervision. Working as music supervisor and executive music producer on feature film and advertising since 2009. Credits include Norwegian features Headhunters, Satisfaction 1720, Sump & Psychobitch. Advertising credits include world wide campaigns for H&M, Norwegian, Duracell, and a range of award winning nordic projects.

Jesper Gadeberg

Founder of Musicstylist.com, Copenhagen
Award winning music stylist Jesper Gadeberg, Copenhagen based is working as a music supervisor in advertising & prefers to be where the good creative ideas are being developed. Having worked for directors such as Michel Gondry ’ Martin Werner, TRAKTOR & Martin De Thurah and many others. He has won ’best use of music’ for his ideas at various advertising festivals, and also judging at various advertising festivals.

Charlotte von Kotze

Director of Music at VICE, New York
Charlotte von Kotze is director of Music at VICE. She handles music supervision for VICE Plus Production creative works, as well as the licensing needs of VIRTUE, an internal VICE MEDIA commercial agency. Recent notable clients include Marc Jacobs, MAC, Nike, Lululemon, Bose, Airbnb, or Delta. Other projects she previously music supervised include A24 x HBO’s critically acclaimed TV show ’Random Acts of Flyness’ directed by Terence Nance (2018).

Terese Gustafsson

Creative manager at Pusher, Berlin
Terese Gustafsson is the Creative Manager in Europe for PUSHER, a modern hydra of sync licensing, bespoke composition, and label & publishing services based in Los Angeles. Recent work include film trailer and advert campaigns like The Joker, Blade Runner 2049, Star Wars, Samsung and FIFA. Terese keeps an eye out for interesting producers, artists, and composers as well as help build and maintain relations with European clientel and creatives.

Roy Lidstone

CEO, A&GSync Inc.
Roy is veteran of the music industry with over 30 years experience which includes music publishing, sync licensing and A&R. He has achieved Gold, Silver and Platinum record sales in the UK and US and as CEO of A&GSync Inc. and A&G Songs Ltd. runs the independent sync agency and music publisher with operations in LA and London. He has overseen the placement of artist music and composition in commercials including: Coca Cola, BMW, Game of Thrones, Homeland and many more.
