Jaquita is from Ireland and lives in Aarhus at the moment. She has been in the spotlight for festival organizers since 2023 when she played Northside, SPOT and Immense Festival. Since she started her DJ career in 2021, she has shared her DJ sets at underground music venues in Aarhus. Recently she has caught the attention of the bookers of Copenhagen for her participation in the Aarhus based DJ collective VVE. Jaquita is also a part of the DJ crew Rail Foundation, whose focus and sound incorporates all aspects of bass culture.
Jaquitas signature atmosphere includes house beats, bass drops, rhythms and old tracks with a new twist. Excited for her debut at turkis, she explores ethno and world house taking you on a journey in a curated set called GROUNDED. While she explores melodic house from artists as far away as Columbia, Istanbul, and Berlin, Jaquita encourages you to follow along on her journey with bare feet and an open mind.
