How can the music industry in Denmark organise itself to get a stronger political voice? Is the way the industry is organised today in its own favour when it comes to setting the political agenda? These are the questions that this talk will focus on.
UK Music works as an umbrella organisation gathering the whole British music industry under one roof. Would it be possible for the Danish industry to gain political influence by operating the same way? Lærke Uldal, moderator of the talk, has conducted an in-depth research paper on exactly this issue. Together with the Parliamentary and Research Manager of UK Music Hannah McLennan, Rikke Andersen (Head of Venue and booker at Fermaten) and Esben Danielsen (director at Kulturens Analyseinstitut), she will dive into the questions of the topic.
