Renowned composer and pianist Henrik Lindstrand, known from the band Kashmir as a multi-instrumentalist and sound wizard, as well as a film and game composer, has in recent years published a solo trilogy with a creative bent of using only the piano. Now Lindstrand is on his way with his fourth album 'Klangland' (March, 2023); a genre hybrid of an album with cinematic, image-creating touches, a melancholic undertone and a fondness for Swedish folklore. A distinctive feature of 'Klangland' is found in the string arrangements, and that is why Lindstrand will be accompanied by the string ensemble Who Killed Bambi when he plays at the SPOT Festival in May.
