Raw, grandiose, dreamy and with clear references to the 70’s and 90’s rock scenes. That’s the sound of singer and songwriter Frida Diamant’s songs. She’s not focused on becoming a perfectly skilled musician. Her main objective is to become a great storyteller. The music became important for her at an early age and when she moved to Copenhagen, she sang at Christiania. The lyrics are in Danish and revolve around the pain and losing someone. When she lost her dad, she stopped writing songs to numb the pain with cigarettes and alcohol instead. But she found her way back to the music and now makes a virtue of being herself 100 percent.
