If one were to point out two things that are absolutely essential for Fenja, it would be the Danish language and nature. It's when she looks up at the starry sky, jumps in puddles, or rides through the forests that she feels most present - and at the same time, most small. And this can be felt in her music. The first song she ever wrote was about climate change and a polar bear losing its home because of it.
In addition to nature, music has always been a refuge for Fenja, who goes by Freja outside of the world of music. The hope is that her music can act in the same way for those who listen to her songs. And give that primal feeling she herself seeks.
