There is a growing focus on (dis)well-being in the music industry, focusing on performing musicians and creating artists. A focus that has long been needed and a problem that has finally come to the surface. Now we just need to look at another, equally serious, side of the issue. Namely, those behind the scenes. It's not always that we understand and appreciate each other's perspectives on and offstage. On one hand, we can't do without each other, and there is generally a strong desire to collaborate. On the other hand, there may be a tendency for mudslinging, blaming others when something goes wrong or isn't good enough.
Furthermore, we find ourselves in an industry where the boundaries between the private and the professional blur. As a result, the manager's role has evolved to include not only the artist's professional endeavors but also their overall well-being. A role that requires extra resilience and resources. But who ensures that the manager thrives? The question is: who takes care of whom?
