The newest reports show that the regional venues - with only a few exceptions - present almost the same concerts. At the same time, most of the venues have come to a place where they use more money on salaries and administration than music. Musicians and agents are increasingly choosing to go on arena tours instead of engaging with the regional venues.
We ask central players if the model of the regional venues is an investment in salaries and bricks rather than music, and hy the musicians and their representatives are not to happy about it. We are looking ahead asking: What does the ideal organisation of economic support of the live music look like?
