When the UK's Music Managers Forum published its first 'Dissecting The Digital Dollar' report in 2015 it set out a number of issues with the way the streaming business works. Since then there has been lots of debate, some legal reform, and some changes to the business models employed by digital platforms. But have the issues been addressed? The report's author, Chris Cooke, is currently working on the next edition of the 'Digital Dollar' book. Based on that work, he'll assess the changes that have occurred over the last decade and ask the question: which problems have been solved and which ones remain?
