The genre organisations in music have been actively working on collecting and utilizing data since 2021, both internally and externally. This has resulted in a series of reports and projects, and now the first public release of our internal data is being launched. We call it "Dansk Musikliv i Tal" (Danish Music Life in Numbers), as our ambition is for the report to grow larger and more comprehensive over the years.
Come and hear about the ambitions of the genre organisations within the field of data, how it aligns with the rest of the music scene, and participate in the debate on how data can contribute to the positive (and negative) narratives in Danish music life in the future.
Panel: Eva Frost, director/JazzDanmark; Jens Christian Nielsen, head of analysis and research/Cultural Analysis Institute; Morten Ogstrup Nielsen, project manager for Data and Documentation/Genre Organisations (JazzDanmark, Tempi, Art Music Denmark, ROSA); Trine Bang, content manager and member of the board/SmukFest, former director/Kulturmødet; Camilla Thiele, head of sustainability/KODA
Moderator: Christian Edelvold, senior advisor/Augustinusfonden
This panel will be in Danish.
Presented by genreorganisationerne (JazzDanmark, Tempi, Art Music Denmark, ROSA) in cooperation with Promus & SPOT+.
