D/troit started in 2013 when Toke, Klaus, Stefan, Mads og Jackie decided that in spite of their pale skin they could still form a soul band. Many concerts were played, relationships ended and vinyls were played over and over till they were falling apart before the guys from D/troit made their debut with the EP ‘Do The Right Thing’ in 2015. The band’s sound is an explosive mix of soul, funk, and love.
The Tremolo Beer Gut (DK)
In 1998 The Tremolo Beer Gut was formed by Jesper ‘Yebo’ Reginal and Sune Wagner, while they were also playing in Psyched Up Janis. Sune is no longer on board, but TBG are still riding high as one of the leading surf bands worldwide. Their instrumental, raw and cinematic garage rock combined with their bang-for-your-buck live shows with the smoke machines working overtime has made them a live favorite for surf heads across the globe. Last year they played their first West Coast tour after 20 years on the live stages. About time if you ask us. This summer they are headlining the world’s biggest surf festival in Livorno.
