Yes there will. We work very hard to make a complete and safe festival experience at SPOT 2021 for you in September full of music and good vibes. And we are looking very much forward to seeing you!
As close to normal as possible but naturally with a great focus on safety. With the moving of the date to September we have the possibilities to scale up our capacity more than calculated so the SPOT 2021-experience will be as full as possible.
The party starts when you’re SPOT-wristband is safe and secure on your wrist. But where do you exchange your ticket to the famous wristband? Well, it can be done at our ticket office at the SPOT main entrance at Frederiksallé – there will be sign to guide you in the right direction (or else take a look at our beautiful map here).
Opening hours for the ticket office are:
If the great accident should occur and we against all odds can’t complete SPOT 2021 in September it will of course be possible to get a refund for your ticket. Alternatively you can get your ticket transferred to SPOT 2022 which we would appreciate very much – because our greatest wish is to celebrate SPOT with you.
The full lineup was announced on August 25th and can be found HERE. However, we do reserve the right to add a few extra musical treats 😉
In the heart of Aarhus as always. It will be possible to see concerts at both venues and outdoor scenes, exactly as you know SPOT. We’ve made a map that gives an overview on all our official stages and venues. You can, however, find a more dynamic version in our official SPOT Festival app.
Naturally, we have a higher focus on the security for all participants at SPOT 2021 – this includes volunteers, musicians, audience, and everything in-between. That is why we keep ourselves updated on the current restrictions, so we make sure that everything in the festival area follows orders before we “open the door” on September 16th. For now, it is planned that all the restrictions in Denmark regarding Covid-19 will expire on September 10th. You will find a hand-sanitizing dispenser here and there, and we do hope that you will use them, but besides that, we’re looking forward to a festival without any Covid-19 restrictions.
When you move a festival date yet again within short notice there are many things that need to work together and especially for a festival like SPOT where you are depending on the capacity of the local venues. Luckily the culture and concerts are up and running again and the venues are booked with amazing concerts. That means for us that we had to be a bit creative with the days to be able to make SPOT 2021 as close to normal as possible. That is why we ended on Thursday and Friday this time.
We aim to have more than 140 concerts over the two days that is SPOT 2021. Hopefully, nobody will go home without a handful of great music experiences.
There will be food stands with delicious meals and snacks as well as bars where you can get a hold of cold drinks and other beverages – both with and without alcohol.
If you have asked to get your ticket transferred to SPOT 2021 in September, then we will make sure that you have a new and valid ticket before the festival starts. If you have any doubts, you’re always welcome to contact us at email@example.com.
If you have asked to get a refund on your ticket, then we will to see and our goal is to get all refunded tickets checked of in our system no later than June 30th. Do you have any questions about the refund, then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have bought a Youth ticket for SPOT 2020 or June 2021, which has been transfered to SPOT in September, and you have turned twenty-five since then, the ticket will still be valid.
